Since moving to flash, pretty much never-- but that's got a lot to do with the brush style on the new RB eps being less enjoyable for doodling. when i worked in toonboom I'd do it every so often to procrastinate or loosen my brain up a little bit. this is the only one i ever colored tho i think!
Whoa didn't know you were still around! Where have you been all these years?
biding my time
So do you think they would be a duo like ice climbers or would they be like duck hunt where they're more or less a single entity? I'm thinkin it would mostly be coach doing the fighting but he uses peck as a weapon, swinging him around by the feet. And then there's coach's super move where you have to charge a punch for like 30 seconds but then instead of unleashing it on an enemy he always just hits peck (it insta-kills peck which makes it the most powerful move in the game, which is unfortunate because you can only use it on peck)
I thought about the same thing with Coach using Peck as a weapon! Just Coach using Peck as like a whip. Or I also thought Peck could be like Gir from that Nick Brawl game where Zim summons him and Gir explodes his enemies, but with Peck, Peck runs towards the enemy and gets killed instantly cuz he's worthless and unathletic.
i dont get it
I will fucking kill you.
oh boy
oh boy is that plenty of pentagons
lotta 'gons for all da good boys and girls
Outside of the artwork and writing (which was pretty damn good), the most outstanding part of this comic was the structure. For example: on this page the third picture bleeds behind the first two, but because it's raining in all three shots, they flow together as one image. The use of closure here is really excellent.
Great job!
Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked it.
The lines were clean and the shading was nice
The shading was subtle yet stood out just enough for it to be appealing to the eye, especially in the undershirt/necktie area. The shading also complimented the thick brush strokes really well.
As for the wood, using a higher smoothing for the texture worked really well. However, I personally would have picked different shades of brown: a light tan for the main color and a slightly darker tan for the swirl pattern. (It would look something like this: http://bit.ly/fB59uU)
Something you may want to consider is reshaping your brush strokes after you've drawn them to make the thickness of the stroke more consistent.
ok, thanks for the feedback and the example, that will help me in the future. :)
Brilliant style, quite eye-catching
But seriously, you know Dr. Wily was running out of ideas when he thought sheep-man would make a good robot.
He could have been called a cloud-robot name. He doesn't have many sheep qualities aside from the horns on the sides of his head. I guess Cumulus Man isn't a much better name though lol
Good job.
Pretty solid fbf 3d, especially on the stem. The lighting on the top of the leaves was a nice touch.
omg thank you
